When Courtney and Ethan Isaacks moved into their dream home, they opened the door to a new chapter of their lives filled with family, creativity and memories. Their Clayton home, the Lulamae, is more than a house – it's a place where they’ve continued traditions as a family, reached milestones and where the coffee is always brewing. And it all started with a Pinterest pin.

A Home That Felt Like Fate

Before settling into their current home, the couple lived in a single family home that was once a duplex one town over. But something was missing. They wanted to be closer to family and find a space that truly felt like theirs. They decided to find a home to place on land that’s been in Ethan’s family since the 1940s; something they had always planned to do.

And Courtney found her dream home years earlier on Pinterest.

"She saw this house on Pinterest years before and said that's what she wanted," Ethan said. Years later when they were ready to buy a home, they toured homes with several builders. But when they walked into the Lulamae home model at a Clayton Homes center in Texas, they knew instantly.

"We went around to a whole bunch of places and when we walked into this one, I said, 'That's it, that's the one I've been looking at for years'," Courtney said. "I didn't even know it was a Clayton (home) until I saw it. I was like, 'That’s literally my Pinterest board'."

A Home Full of Firsts

Their new home quickly became the backdrop for some of life's biggest moments with their two young kids, Marshall and Ella. "For five years, we weren't able to get pregnant," Courtney said. "As soon as we moved in, we got pregnant (with Marshall). And then we had Ella right after."

For Ethan, bringing home the kids has been his favorite memory in the home. Ethan and Courtney have made it a tradition to mark their children's heights on the wall, and they take a photo of their son Marshall sitting by the front door every year on his birthday. As a stay-at-home mom, Courtney says she loves spending time with her kids at home and how it gives her a purpose.

A Creative Outlet

During her postpartum journey, Courtney began a new hobby into content creation on TikTok. What started as a hobby turned into a passion project.

"I had worked forever (before kids), so it was weird not to," Courtney said. "I wanted a hobby, and I've always liked photography and videography, (and) I got into coffee randomly one day, and now I can’t live without it," she laughed.

Her TikTok account, Home of Coffee, began with coffee-making videos but expanded into showing her home, cleaning routines and family life. "Everyone (viewers) loved the house, so I did more content around that, and it just took off."

Where They Love to Be

Ethan's favorite spot of the house is the living room. "It's relaxing, and you can see if someone is coming down the driveway." Their dog, Archie, affectionately known as the 'early detection system', always lets them know when someone's approaching. Ethan adds he loves owning a home because of the financial investment.

"The money spent is going to something tangible and not wasted on rent," he said.

Courtney finds peace in the quiet and being able to host family. Since moving in five years ago, the Isaacks home has become the place for family gatherings since day one.

"We moved in November and hosted Thanksgiving a week later," Courtney said. "Hosting and being able to do (the kids') birthdays every year (here) – that means everything. It's simple, but it's ours."
